The Women’s EURO 2025 was my eighth tournament as a reporter, and a joy as ever. I did the usual: attending and reporting on matches (in Luzerne, Zurich and Basel), interviewing the coach and players before and after each one, carrying out longer sit-down interviews in the days between the games, writing features… And, of course, whenever possible hiking up mountains, swimming in lakes and drinking horrendously expensive but nonetheless very enjoyable beers with other reporters and tournament staff.
